What Laeka collects, why, how long, and with whom it is shared. Sober and factual. Last updated: 2026-05-06.
Visiting laeka.org : standard nginx access logs (IP, user-agent, requested path, referrer) retained 30 days for security and capacity planning. No tracking pixels, no third-party cookies, no fingerprinting.
If you contact us via the form on /contact.html (which posts to contact.laeka.org/api/contact), we receive your name (if provided), email, and message body.
To respond to your message. To diagnose service issues. To enforce abuse policy.
We do not sell, rent, or barter your data. No targeted advertising, no profiling for third parties.
Cloudflare (CDN + DNS proxy, may see request metadata at the edge). Resend (email delivery for any reply we send you). Linode (hosting infrastructure). All three operate under their own privacy policies; we use them as data processors, not controllers.
If we add Plausible self-hosted analytics later, this page will be updated. Plausible does not track individual users and does not use cookies.
Access logs : 30 days then automatic deletion. Contact form submissions : retained as long as needed to handle the conversation, archived after 12 months unless the relationship is ongoing.
You can request access, deletion, or portability of any data we hold about you. Email francoise@laeka.org with subject “Privacy”. Processed within 30 days.
RGPD (EU), Loi 25 (Québec), CASL (Canada) compliant. EU residents may also lodge complaints with their national data protection authority.
