Before, you’d spend hours on the company’s website, reading press releases, digging through LinkedIn. Now you can ask a tool like ChatGPT or Sherpa<\/a>: “Summarize [company]’s activities, culture, and recent challenges.” In two minutes, you’ve got a clear picture. You can even ask: “What questions might a recruiter from this company ask me?”<\/p>\n

It’s like having a coach who’s already done 10,000 interviews. They know the patterns.<\/p>\n

Practice your answers (with zero awkwardness)<\/h2>\n

The biggest advantage is practice. You can tell the AI: “Play the role of a recruiter for a [your position] role and ask me interview questions.” Then you answer. The AI gives you feedback: too long, not concrete enough, needs more examples.<\/p>\n

Nobody’s judging you. No stress. You can start over 15 times if you want. It’s like practicing your golf swing at the driving range \u2014 no consequences, just improvement.<\/p>\n

The trick is to use the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result) and ask the AI to check if your answers follow that structure.<\/p>\n

Tailor your resume and cover letter<\/h2>\n

You can paste the job posting into the AI and ask: “What keywords from this posting should appear in my resume?” The AI will spot what the recruiter is looking for \u2014 the skills, the vocabulary, the priorities. It’s not cheating, it’s being strategic.<\/p>\n

For the cover letter, give the AI your resume and the job posting, then ask for a draft. But \u2014 and this is important \u2014 read everything and add your personal touch. An experienced recruiter will sense if it’s generic.<\/p>\n

Manage stress on D-Day<\/h2>\n

The night before the interview, you can ask the AI to give you a summary of your best arguments, your practiced answers, the key info about the company. A one-page cheat sheet. Read it in the morning with your coffee and you’ll feel solid.<\/p>\n

AI doesn’t replace your personality, your energy, your experience. But it prepares you so much better that you can focus on what really matters: being yourself, with confidence.<\/p>\n
